Natural, relaxed wedding photography at The Hospitium, York – capturing real moments in a truly historic venue.536.jpg

Meg and Josh tied the knot in unforgettable style at one of York’s most iconic venues – the historic Hospitium, nestled in the beautiful Museum Gardens. The day began at The Milner in York, where both Meg and Josh got ready surrounded by their closest friends and family. The Milner’s chic interiors provided the perfect calm before the excitement. The couple arrived at The Hospitium in serious style – in a beautifully restored vintage Land Rover Defender. It was a head-turning moment, and perfectly matched the relaxed, classic vibe of the day.

Hospitium ceremonies are amazing, what an incredible place to get married. With its medieval stone walls and timber beams, the venue is just perfect. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds and their guests spilled out into the gardens, where they basked in the summer sun and wandered amongst ancient ruins. Photos in St Mary’s Abbey are always a highlight for me – the dramatic stone arches and ivy-covered walls are the perfect backdrop for capturing Meg and Josh’s first moments as a married couple.

As the sun set over York, the party kicked off in full swing thanks to the incredible Hyde Family Jam. Their high-energy, foot-stomping folk and rock vibes had everyone on the dancefloor.

Congratulations Meg and Josh – and thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding!
