​Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Georgia and Dan’s intimate micro wedding at Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton-le-Hole, North Yorkshire.

The museum provided the perfect backdrop for Georgia and Dan’s special day. Surrounded by history and rustic charm, the museum grounds offered a unique and picturesque setting for their private ceremony. With its Yorkshire stone buildings and lush greenery, it was an absolute dream to photograph. The ceremony took place in an incredibly private spot within the museum grounds, making it an intimate and deeply personal occasion, with only their closest family, friends and beloved dog as their witness.

 

After the ceremony, Georgia and Dan embraced the relaxed, free-spirited nature of their day, walking barefoot across the sheep fields and soaking in the beauty of their surroundings. A highlight of their afternoon was stopping by the village shop to sample some delicious local ice cream—just one of the many ways they made their wedding truly their own.​

 

Georgia and Dan’s wedding was a perfect reminder that your wedding day should be a reflection of you—authentic, meaningful, and done your way. It was an honor to be part of their beautiful celebration and to document such a heartfelt, intimate occasion.
