The day began at the historic Blacktoft Church, a small, peaceful setting perfect for their wedding ceremony. Megan looked breathtaking in her classic wedding dress, complemented by soft, romantic florals. Bradley’s face as he saw her walking down the aisle was pure magic. As a photographer, moments like these unposed and full of raw emotion are what I live for.
Rustic Elegance at The Riverlands Wedding Venue
Following the ceremony, the celebrations moved to the stunning Riverlands wedding venue. Tucked away in the
heart of the East Yorkshire countryside, The Riverlands offers a mix of rustic charm and modern touches. With its converted barns, sweeping fields, and peaceful riverbank, it’s one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
The floral arrangements were stunning, every detail of the day was perfectly curated. The flowers especially were a standout bright, seasonal blooms that brought life and colour to every corner of the venue.
Golden Hour Magic on the Riverbank
As the sun began to dip, we took a walk down to the riverbank and this is where the real magic happened. Golden hour at The Riverlands is like something out of a fairytale. The light was warm and golden, casting a beautiful glow over Megan and Bradley as they embraced, laughed, and took a quiet moment for just the two of them. These portraits are some of my favourites from the day soft, romantic, and full of connection.
