Lizzie and Dan’s wedding at Bunny Hill was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer. Relaxed, and full of genuine moments, it was an amazing day at one of my favourite wedding venues in Yorkshire.
As a trusted supplier, I always feel at home here. It's a stunning countryside wedding venue with beautiful light, open spaces and a calm atmosphere that allows couples to truly enjoy their day. Lizzie and Dan chose the venue perfectly and it suited their style and personalities so well.
Before the wedding day, the couple chose to have a pre wedding shoot. This is something I always recommend, especially for couples who feel a little nervous about being photographed. The shoot gave them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, understand how I work and see how relaxed and natural the experience can be.
By the time their wedding day arrived, any photography nerves had completely disappeared. They felt confident, at ease and able to fully enjoy every moment, which made a huge difference to their wedding photos. A pre wedding shoot is such a valuable part of the experience and really helps couples feel prepared and excited rather than anxious.
Bunny Hill Weddings is known for its elegant yet laid back feel, and this wedding was a perfect reflection of that. From the ceremony through to the celebrations, everything flowed effortlessly. Being a regular I know the venue inside and out, including the best locations for relaxed and natural wedding photography. This allows couples to spend less time away from their guests and more time soaking up their wedding day, while still receiving a beautiful gallery of images that tell the full story.
One of the highlights of the day was the appearance of Olive the Black Labrador. Including a dog in a wedding always adds something extra special, and Olive was no exception. She was calm, happy and clearly very loved, bringing smiles to everyone she met.
Capturing Olive alongside Lizzie and Dan created some truly memorable moments and photographs they will cherish forever. Bunny Hill is a wonderful venue for dog friendly weddings, and Olive fitted in perfectly.
