Emily and Alistair chose the perfect way to celebrate their wedding day, keeping everything close to home in beautiful East Yorkshire. Their ceremony took place at the lovely All Saints Church Holme upon Spalding Moor, a stunning village church that created the most relaxed start to the day.

After the ceremony everyone headed back to the couple’s family home where the garden had been completely transformed. Sitting proudly on the lawn was the most incredible marquee, filled with flowers, amazing tables and the kind of atmosphere that only a garden celebration can create.

​

The afternoon was packed with fun. Guests enjoyed garden games on the lawn and one of the highlights of the day was the brilliant twilight duck race which had everyone cheering and even if the result was questionable.  It was exactly the kind of laid back celebration Emily and Alistair had imagined, with friends and family making the most of the sunshine.

As the evening arrived the light turned magical and we were treated to the most beautiful golden hour across the East Yorkshire countryside. We slipped away for a few quiet portraits before everyone headed back into the marquee where the dancing got underway and the party continued late into the night.
